| Grigg's
Forge was converted to a pottery in the 1970s by John Vasey. John then moved
to Fowey for a few years and is now at St Agnes. The current potter is Althur
Walford, ably assisted by Yvonne Graham. Arthur has been described as "the
fastest potter in the West" by Anthony Richards. They produce mainly
domestic stoneware and kitchenware. Most pieces are not marked. (2003) |
